Scott Pilgrim

It's Monday night. In approximately 32 hours and 10 minutes, I am leaving for college. I had an amazing night with my friends earlier. We went to the movie Scott Pilgrim VS. the World, and it was really unique. I love how when he found the "evil ex's", he stabbed them with a sword and they turned into coins. It was like a video game. I also loved Ramona Flowers. She was the main character. I really loved how she dyed her hair every week and a half. Of course, in real life, her hair health would be the consistency of straw if this were true. She had this cool and collected attitude and awesome style that made me wish I was her. Then i realized that this was a movie and I couldn't really be her. It's still pretty cool though. Kudos to the director of the movie. It was a keeper!! We also went to Wings to Go at like 6:00ish tonight. I had so many leftovers by the time we were finished. Geri's car ended up smelling like chicken by the end of the night. :] Some guy in Wings to Go left his number on a napkin and laid it on our table on his way out of the restaurant. It was soooo funny. It was one of those you-had-to-be-there moments. . . The way he said "this is for ya'll" and winked made it all the more hilarious. Anyways, I had an awesome day. I am really going to miss my friends!!! Thank God for facebook and texting. :]

Recent Times

Today is Saturday and I woke up around 10:30-ish. Anyways, I wanted to let you all know that I finally got my permit!! I conquered part of my fears!! Next on my list is doing the driving portion of the test! I am sooo nervous even though I really know I shouldn't be. On another page, I am very close to being done with my painting that I have been working on all summer. I think it just needs a few touch-ups and it could be my best artpiece. :] I am not very happy with the proportion of the lamb in the painting and also the lighting on the lamb. That would be most of what I need to touch up. I am just worried that I will mess it up even more, if I try to fix it!!
Pray for me to have a steady hand while I paint!!! :]

Sunday

Im really excited about going to college in a few weeks. In a way, I wish it would come overnight because I want my life to start! Another side of me wants to wait until I can get my license. I feel sort of inadequate since im 18 and don't even have my drivers license. It's really difficult when I continuously have nightmares about driving. It discourages me. I need to trust in God. Satan is trying to get to me!! I just know it! Anyways, it's Sunday and I feel at peace with myself because I'm trying to place my worries in God's hands. This is difficult for me because worrying is a second nature. I'll just keep listening to inspirational music so I will keep a positive attitude! :]

Acknowledge Him!!

Matthew 10:32-39
Therefore, everyone who will acknowledge Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. Don't assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to turn
a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
and a man's enemies will be
the members of his household.
The person who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; the person who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And whoever doesn't take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Anyone finding his life will lose it, and anyone losing his life because of Me will find it.

Jesus wants us to love Him more than anything else and anyone else! He wants us to proclaim Him Son of God to everyone we know!!!

Why are their so many denominations???

Matthew 7:15-23
Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves. You'll recognize them by their fruit. Are grapes gathered from thorn-bushes or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can't produce bad fruit; niether can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that doesn't produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So you'll recognize them by their fruit. "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. On that day many will say to Me, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prohesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?' Then I will announce to them, ' I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!'

Jesus spoke to me in this verse as a weapon agains non-believers. Satan has twisted the christian faith so that the many denominations of christianity are confusing to non-believers. He has shown me that the way to know that the belief system is true and righteous is by the 'fruit' produced by this faith! Thank You Jesus for revealing this to me!!

I'm the Narrorator and This is Just the Prologue.

My summer so far has been anything but exciting. This is supposed to be the time of my life, where I emerge from being a child into being an adult. So far, I have mastered nothing in behavioral habits of the so-called 'adult'. I still eat junk food, watch racy shows on television, entwine myself in opinionated debates on the latest celebrities, and lazily sleep until noon. Nevertheless, I am enjoying it while it lasts. I went to Relay for Life in hopes of getting myself out of the house and also to hang out with Chelsea. Before then, I did not know what profusely sweating was. I definately found out. In fact, yesterday, the head index was 105 degrees. Anyways, Chelsea and I painted faces for approximately three hours. I mostly didn't understand why people were so willing to pay for face-paintings, when we all knew it would be sweated off. We made about 70ish dollars for Teleflora, and it was for a good cause.
